根据国际交流处通知，现开展2011年度加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学（The University
of British Columbia）学生秋季交流项目。具体信息如下：
一、基本信息
(1)时间：2011年9月-12月
(2)名额：2名
(3)费用：免对方学校学费，其余自理。需交纳人民币5000元/学期国际交流基金。
(4)截止日期：2011年3月1日（提名和网上申请截止）；2011年3月15号（纸质材料申请截
止）。
(5)新生培训（必须参加，为期3天）：2011年8月下旬或九月上旬

二、选拔要求

三、提交材料
最后入选的同学请按照下列要求准备材料（一式两份，并扫描所有原件，每个文件控制在
1M左右），于2月28日之前递交至国际交流处交换生工作科（鼓楼校区树华楼101室）。材

(1)Print out the Go Global Application Document Checklist and include it with
your other application documents prior to the application deadline.
(2)Current official academic transcript (if you are applying for graduate
studies please include both undergraduate and graduate transcripts)
(3)Official translation of academic transcript (if original transcript is not
in English)
(4)TOEFL score if English is not your first language (check to see if this
requirement has been waived for your university)
(5)One passport-sized photo (with name and university written on back)
(6)Proposed Course Selection Form (43KB PDF) Due March 15. This form will give
us an idea of what you plan to study at UBC but will not be used to register
you in courses.
(7)UBC will publish the 2011/12 course schedule by April 2011., You will need
to submit your final course selections, by June 10, 2011. We will use it to
register you in your courses beginning in mid-June.

Program Required documentation
Architecture 1. Statement explaining your interest in the discipline of
architecture and UBC's School of Architecture
2. Curriculum Vitae (resumé)
3. Two letters of reference
4. Portfolio (a representative sample of undergraduate or graduate level
rchitecture course work)
5. TOEFL score of 100 (Internet-based)
Landscape Architecture A portfolio may be requested after receiving the
application; the file must be transferable by email (smaller than 50MB).
Education If you want to participate in a teaching practicum, a criminal
record check (from your local police authority) is mandatory. This requirement
is the result of British Columbia legislation that requires a review of all
candidates who will be working with children.
Music A DVD or VHS audition tape. Please email music.advisor@ubc.ca if you
have questions about the audition tape.
Visual Arts A portfolio (CD or slides) of your work in the areas you would
like to take courses (e.g., sculpture, painting).

四、校内申请程序：
请有意向的同学登录“教服平台”，点击“国际交换”—“国际交换项目申请”。第
一次进行申请请直接点击“新建申请”；在认真填完申请表单后，请点击“确定”完成提
交；提交成功后，请点击“生成申请表”，系统会自动生成一个网页（可另存至U盘打印）
，打印该网页作为纸质申请表，由相关院系负责人签字盖章，交至教务处。
网上申请截止时间：1月7日下午4点纸质申请表递交时间：1月7日下午2:00-4:00（鼓楼校区甲字楼206；仙林校区教学
服务中心A101）
提醒：申请提交成功后，必须打印纸质的申请表并交至教务处，否则该申请将无法通过审
核。
