现接到我校国际交流处通知，开展密西西比大学（The University of Mississippi）交流项目。项目具体信息如下：
1、 交流时间：2010年秋季学期
2、 名额：2名（免对方学校学费）；10名自费生（学费优惠）
3、 新生报到时间：2010年8月17日
4、 待遇：2名免对方学费的同学需要交纳5000元/学期国际交流基金，其余自理；自费学生一切费用均自理。
5、 要求：（1）学习成绩优秀，身心健康，未受过任何处分。
（2）该校有相关专业。
（3）申请免对方学校学费名额的同学要参加过2010年3月交换生考试。
（4）外语能力：具有托福雅思成绩，或参加该校的英语强化班考试（具体请见页底Language Proficiency Requirement）
6、提交材料：最后入选的同学可以登录以下网址，按要求备齐材料。并在4月5日前把材料（一式两份）递交国际交流处处树华楼101室。

Language Proficiency Requirement
We recommend that students score a 550 on the TOEFL to take regular undergraduate courese. If they do not score a 550, we recommend that they take Intensive English classes. However, if the students feel that they are equipped to take regular coursework, they may take regular classes or a combination of Intensive English classes and regular classes on campus; however, we do not guarantee their success if their TOEFL is below 550. If a student does have an official TOEFL score or IELTS score prior to coming to the University of Mississippi, they will take a placement test upon arrival during orientation to see if they are equipped to take regular undergraduate classes or where they place in the Intensive English Program.
